Engkarseslekta (Cardamine) er ei planteslekt i krossblomfamilien. Medlemene er plantar med granne røter, opprett stengel og finna blad (høgfjellskarse har heile blad). Dei har lang flat skulpe med kort griffel. Frøa sit i ei rad i kvart skulperom. Skulpeloket rullar seg opp når det losnar. Åtte artar veks vilt eller forvilla i Noreg.
