Richard Gustav Furuholmen (17. oktober 1887–27. mars 1963) var ein norsk ingeniør og båtkonstruktør. Han var fødd i Varteig ved Sarpsborg. Han teikna sin første båt i 1906. Etter nokre år i USA, der han mellom anna arbeidde med teikning av motorbåtar, arbeidde han som båtkonstruktør i Oslo frå 1916. I 1919 starta han eiga konstruksjons- og konsulent verksemd. Furuholmen er særleg kjend for motorbåtane han konstruerte. Åleine, eller saman med andre, konstruerte han over 1500 ulike motorbåtar.


Saman med Otto L. Scheen, som han frå 1954 samarbeidde med i firmaet Furuholmen & Scheen, konstruerte han fleire redningsskøyter. Særleg hadde dei mykje arbeid med utviklinga av redningskryssarane i stål.


Han mottok Kongens fortenestmedalje i gull i 1962.
