Meisterligaen 1999 var den 7. årgangen av den viktigaste turneringa for europeiske fotballklubbar; UEFA Champions League. Den engelske klubben Manchester United vann turneringa den 26. mai 1999 på Camp Nou i Barcelona gjennom å vinne 2-1 over tyske Bayern München. Marco Basler gav Bayern leiinga allereie i det 6. minutt. Heilt i sluttminuttane utlikna fyrst Teddy Sheringham, før Ole Gunnar Solskjær styrte ballen i nettet etter hjørnespark frå venstre.


Manchester United tok dermed sin fyrste siger i Meisterligaen, 31 år etter at klubben vann i Europacupen.

Manchester United: Peter Schmeichel, Gary Neville, Ronny Johnsen, Jaap Stam, Denis Irwin, Ryan Giggs, David Beckham, Nicky Butt, Jesper Blomqvist, Dwight Yorke og Andy Cole. Målskårarane, innbytarane Teddy Sheringham og Ole Gunnar Solskjær kom inn i det 67. og 81. minutt, ut fòr Blomqvist og Cole.


Bayern München: Oliver Kahn, Lothar Matthäus, Markus Babbel, Thomas Linke, Samuel Kuffour, Michael Tarnat, Stefan Effenberg, Jens Jeremies, Mario Basler, Carsten Jancker og Alexander Zickler. Mehmet Scholl kom inn for Zickler i det 71., Thorsten Fink for Matthäus i det 81. og Hasan Salihamidžić for Basler i det 89. minutt.
