Graz (slovensk Gradec) er den nest største byen i Austerrike og hovudstad i delstaten Steiermark. Han har om lag 250 099 innbyggjarar (2006). Det gamle bysenteret er sett opp å UNESCO-lista over verdsarv.


Graz har ei lang historie som universitetsby og har i dag heile seks universitet med til saman 40 000 studentar. Nikola Tesla er mellom dei som har studert i byen.


Det gamle bysenteret i Graz er eitt av dei best bevarte i Europa, og er derfor teke med på UNESCO-lista over verdas kulturarv. Graz var europeisk kulturby i 2003.


Namnet Graz kjem frå det slovenske ordet for borg, grad — Gradec tyder 'lita borg'.
