Kne er ein kroppsdel midt på foten rundtom eit hengselledd som bind saman låret og underbeinet. I menneske held kneet størsteparten av kroppsvekta, og er dermed det leddet som er mest utsett for både akuttskader og utvikling av artrose, ei form for revmatisme.


Kneregionen (medisinsk latin regio genus) omfattar kneleddet (Articulatio genus), kneskåla (patella) og knehasen (fossa poplitea). Lårbeinet står på skinnbeinet med ein vinkel på rundt 175°. Ein mindre vinkel enn dette vil gjera ein kubeint (genu valgum) medan ein større vil gjera ein hjulbeint (genu varum).


Kneet blir brukt i dei fleste former menneske har for å flytta på seg, som gåing, springing, klatring og mange former for symjing. Ein bøyer kneet for å sitja og å neia. Å knela eller knea vil seia at ein set eitt eller begge knea i bakken og kviler kroppstyngda der.
