Ein ball er eit sfærisk eller rundvore objekt som kan brukast til leik, idrett og trening. Ballar kan ofte spretta og rulla. Dei kan vera massive eller fylte av luft. Tre, lêr og gummi er tradisjonelle ballmaterial, men i dag blir mange ballar laga av plast.



I dei fleste ballspel er ballen hovudpunktet som skal slåast, sparkast eller kastast av spelarane, ofte mot eit mål.
