Mellomgolvet, eller diafragma (frå gresk dia mellom, gjennom og phragma gjerde), er ein muskel hos pattedyr. Han er kuppelforma når han slappar av, flat når han er spent. Mellomgolvet skil brysthola med hjarte og lunger frå bukhola med magesekk og tarmar.


Mellomgolvet er naudsynt for normal respirasjon, det har også ein viktig funksjon for å presse ut avføring.
