Figur i matematikk


Ein figur i matematikk er ein illustrasjon av geometriske setningar og bevis, som er til hjelp for forståinga, men som ikkje i og for seg del av det logiske beviset. Ein figur av punkt og kurver kallast ein planfigur dersom alle punkta og kurvene ligg i same plan. Elles vert figuren kalla ein romfigur.
