Yatta eller Yattah (arabisk يطّا, hebraisk skrift יטא) er ein palestinsk by i Hebron guvernement på ei høgd, kring 8 km sør for byen Hebron på Vestbreidda.[1] I følgje Palestinsk statistisk sentralbyrå hadde han eit folketal på 48 672 i 2007.[2][3]

Yatta er identifisert med den bibelske byen Jutta.[4]
Ein jødisk gravplass datert til 100-talet evt. vart funnen i byen i 1931.[5]Eusebius (300-talet) skreiv at Yatta var «ein svært stor, jødisk landsby, 18 mil sør for Beit Guvrin.»[5]


I 1596 hadde han eit folketal på 127 muslimske familiar, og betalte skatt for kveite, bygg, oliven, geiter og bikubar.[6] I 1931 var folketalet 4 034 muslimar.[7]


Survey of Western Palestine skildra landsbyen i 1870-åra som ein «stor landsby på ei høgd. Han er bygd av stein, men somme av innbyggjarane bur i telt. Vassforsyninga kjem frå cisterner. I sør ligg det graver hogde ut i berget, og vinpresser i stein finst over heile landsbyen. Området er særs steinete, sør for landsbyen ligg spreidde oliven, i vest, like nedanfor ei klippe, ligg ein liten olivenhage der leiren til kartleggingsgruppa slo leir i 1874. Sørvest for leiren står nokre fikentre. Landsbyen vert sagt å ha 17 000 sauer, i tillegg til geiter, kyr, kamelar, hestar og eslar. Sjeiken aleine har 250 sauer.»[8]


Minst sju palestinarar vart drepne i Yatta under den andre Intifada i 2002-2004.[9]
