Amy Lee Grant (fødd 25. november 1960) er ein USA-amerikansk artist. Ho er best kjend for å ha produsert mykje kristen pop og gospelmusikk.



Biografi |


Amy Grant vart fødd i Augusta i delstaten Georgia, men flytte til Nashville i Tennessee i barndommen.
Ho gav ut sitt debutalbum i 1977 på Word Records; det fekk tittelen Amy Grant. Oppfylgjaralbumet My Father's Eyes kom allereie året etter. På sleppefesten til andrealbumet møtte ho musikaren Gary Chapman som ho innleidde eit musikalsk samarbeid med og seinare gifte seg med.
Amy Grant heldt fram som ein produktiv artist også i løpet av 1980-åra. Ho fekk sin fyrste Grammy-pris i 1982.


Amy Grant har så langt gjeve ut 17 studioalbum, blant dei fleire joleplater. Fram til i dag har ho vunne 6 Grammy-prisar, fått talrike andre prisar og nominasjonar og selt over 30 millionar plater på verdsbasis.
Amy Grant har tre born med Gary Chapman, men dei to er i dag skilde. Ho er no gift med musikaren Vince Gill.
