Pappmasjé




Pappmasjé forma rundt ballongar for å laga ein gris.


Pappmasjé (frå fransk papier maché, eigentleg 'tygga papir') er eit formingsmateriale laga av fuktig papirmasse og eit lim- eller fyllstoff. Dette kan pressast og formast til ulike ting og figurar, som leiketøy, masker, pynt og liknande. Etter pressinga gjev ein som oftast ei overflatebehandling til gjenstandane, som måling eller lakk. På 1700-talet byrja ein også å forgylla ulike dekorasjonar av pappmasjé.
