Oppsittar


Oppsittar er ei nemning som særleg vert nytta i juridisk språkbruk om ein person som bur på og driv ein gard eller plass, anten som sjølveigande gardbrukar eller som leiglending. Opphavleg var det berre visse leigarar av landbruksjord (bygselmenn eller leiglendingar) som vart kalla oppsittarar.
