Possession Islands er ei gruppe små øyar og skjer som strekkjer seg over eit område på kring 11 km. Dei ligg vest i Rosshavet, 8 km søraust for Cape McCormick i Victoria Land. Possession Islands vart namngjevne av kaptein James Clark Ross i Royal Navy, til minne om at det britiske flagget vart planta her 12. januar 1841.[1]

Possession Island er ei klipperik øy som er nesten 3 km lang, og den nordlegaste og største av Possession Islands. Possession Island ligg ved 71°52′S 171°12′E.[2]
