Simon Phillips (fødd 6. februar 1957) er ein engelsk jazz-, pop- og rocketrommeslagar[1] låtskrivar og produsent, mest kjend som studiomusikar for ei rekkje kjende, engelske rockeartistar gjennom 1970- og 1980-åra. Han var trommeslagar i Toto frå 1992 til 2014.


Phillips byrja å spelte profesjonelt då han var tolv år gammal i Dixieland-bandet til faren. Phillips var trommeslagaren på albumet 801 Live i 1976 med Phil Manzanera og Brian Eno. Han har òg spelt trommer for Jeff Beck, The Who, Judas Priest, Tears for Fears, Mike Oldfield og Gary Moore, blant fleire. Han var trommeslagaren til The Who på den amerikanske turneen deira i 1989. Han har sjølv gjeve ut fire soloalbum. Phillips vart med i Toto i 1992 etter Jeff Porcaro døydde under øvingane til ein komande turné. I 2014 forlet Phillips Toto for å fokusere på sin eigen karriere.


Han vart innlemma i Modern Drummer Hall of Fame i 2003.[2]
