Alan Moore (fødd i 1950) er ein tidlegare britisk musikar, mest kjend som den tredje offisielle tromeslagaren i heavy metal-bandet Judas Priest,[1] som spelte på det andre albumet deira, Sad Wings of Destiny (1976).


Moore var alt aktiv i Birmingham og spelte i mange band, som The Young Casuals, The Other Lot, The Outer Light, Gabriel Oak, Glad Stallion, Tendency Jones og Pendulum. Han vart møtt av gitaristen K.K. Downing og bassisten Ian Hill i 1971, og var med i den tidlege fasen til Judas Priest i kring eitt år. Han slutta i 1972 og vart med i countryrockbandet Sundance, som han spelte inn albumet Rain, Steam, Speed med (1974),[2] og singelen «Coming Down».


I 1975 slutta John Hinch som trommeslagar i Juads Priest, og Downing og Hill gjekk til Moore igjen. Moore kom med i bandet for andre gongen. Den første konserten hans etter han kom tilbake var 11. oktober 1975 på Slough College i London. I 1976 spelte dei inn albumet Sad Wings of Destiny. Trass i suksessen med albumet valte Moore igjen å slutte i bandet.


Moore fortsette å spele med andre band, som Zenda Jacks Stormbringer og andre. I 1981 fekk han platekontrakt med bandet R.P.M.,[3] og dei gav ut to singlar. Til slutt slutta han heilt med musikken og arbeidde som lastebilsjåfør.
