Adda ved Trezzo sull'Adda.


Adda (latin Abdua eller Addua) er ei elv nord i Italia og ei av sideelvane til Po frå venstre. Ho har utspring i Alpane nær grensa til Sveits og renn ut i Comosjøen. Adda munnar ut i Po nokre kilometer oppfor Cremona. Ho er 313 km lang.


Av byar langs Adda finn ein Bormio, Sondrio, Bellagio og Lecco (vegge ved Comosjøen) og Lodi.


Kjelda til Adda er nokre små vatn øvst i Fragiledalen, men volumet i elva aukar først nær byen Bormio. Ho renn så sørvestover, så vestover gjennom frodige Valtellina, forbi Tirano, der Poschiavinofossen er på høgresida, og Sondrio, der ho møter Mallero frå høgre. Ho renn så ut i Comosjøen i nordenden. Ho renn vidare ut frå den søraustlege armen til Comosjøen, kalla Leccoarmen, og kryssar sletta i Lombardia der ho mottar elva Serio frå venstre. Til slutt munnar ho ut i Po, 13 km oppfor Cremona.


Dei nedre delane av Adda danna tidlegare grensa mellom Republikken Venezia og Hertugdømet Milano etter Loditraktaten i 1454. Fleire viktig slag er utkjempa ved breidda av elva, menst kjend er slaget ved Lodi, der Napoleon slo austerrikarane i 1796. Fleire slag har òg funne stad ved bruhovedet i Cassano d'Adda.
